MW2 for me will go down as the game that WOULD have been great if it had to following changes.
1.) No Tactical Nuke. Its got no point & it just proves that IW made it to piss people off.
2.) The Chopper Gunner should have a 3 burst cannon(Primary) & Dead Aim Rockets(Secondary).
3.) The Barrett .50 Rifle is just short of an anti-tank rifle, its a beast of a weapon
it should be treated as one.
- It'd be like the Sentry Gun it come in a Package, can be set up.
- It'd be a 1 hit kill regardless. The smallest thing in the world that can take a .50 cal
hit & not be affected is a tank!
- It'd be pin-point accurate, but it only in 90 degree field & you could only use it in the
prone position.
- It only has 10 rounds, it be ridiculous if it could go for a whole round.
4.) A Silencer doesn't make a weapon any LESS effective than it already is. Put simply it just
makes your gun invisible to radar. No change in damage or accuracy.
5.) Swap Stopping Power for Overkill (2 Primary Weapons) cause people switch out the Secondary for
another persons Primary weapon all the time. Stopping Power just makes every game mode
Hardcore Mode.
6.) Bling is 1 of the few additions that I ACTUALLY like! I would've done it differently though.
I would let the player have 2 attachments on their Primary & 1 on their Secondary w/out need
of this Perk. When its upgraded to Pro, you can have as many as 4 attachments on your Primary &
3 on your Secondary.
- You've got as many as 9 attachments for Primary weapons, most of them can be used
together, why work so hard to get them if your only get to use 2 at a time?
- Having 4 attachments sounds pretty OP, but think about this. You get 2 minor advantages on
top of a scope & an under-mount. But that means the only way you can resupply yourself
is w/ an Ammo Package or you have to die & pickup whats left in your weapon.
- Your Secondary weapons don't have as many attachments that can work together.
7.) There are some attachments that just don't make sense. A Heartbeat Sensor on an LMG??? Than
there are attachments that make perfect sense but aren't available. Heres how I'd do it.
Assualt Rifles
- Grip
- Grenade Launcher/Shotgun
- Red Dot, ACOG, Holographic, Thermal, Sniper
- Heartbeat Sensor
- Silencer
- FMJ
- Extended Mags (It'd be an ACTUAL box of ammo, w/ different reload animation)
- Forward Shield (It'd be like the Riot Shield, however it only covers your head when your
aiming down the sights)
- Semtex Round (60 kills w/ a Grenade Launcher, detonates on contact regardless of range,
1 round only.)
- Solid Slug Shells (40 kills w/ a Shotgun, ONLY weapon round that can penetrate the Riot
Shield.)
- Ghillie Mesh (Blends in w/ your Ghillie Suit if your a Sniper.)
Sub Machine Guns
- Silencer
- FMJ
- Extended Mags
- Rapid Fire
- Red Dot, ACOG, Holographic, Thermal
- Tac Knife (yeah I know how that sounds, but it makes more sense than w/ a Pistol.)
- Ghillie Mesh
Light Machine Guns
- Grip
- Forward Shield
- Bi-Pod (Increases accuracy, but only when you are prone. Limits you to 90 degree FOF)
- Red Dot, ACOG, Holographic, Thermal
- FMJ
- Extended Mags
- Ghillie Mesh
Sniper Rifles
- Silencer
- Bi-pod
- Ghillie Mesh
- ACOG, Thermal
- FMJ
- Heartbeat Sensor
Riot Shield (yeah I think they could've done more w/ this)
- Riot Shield (same as always)
- Blast Shield (instead of a mask that does NOTHING! the Blast Shield is a solid metal version
of the Riot Shield, the difference between them is the Blast Shield is MADE to deflect
explosives, however they only greatly reduce bullet damage. So bullets will kill you after a
number of hits. Hey more reason to have FMJ?)
- Combat Shield (okay this is probably the worst of my ideas. The Combat Shield combines both
defensive aspects of the Riot & Blast Shields & allows you to fire an SMG w/out exposing
yourself)
- Regardless if you have either of these! You can't swap your Secondary for another Shield.
Secondaries
Machine Pistols
- Silencer
- Red Dot, Holographic
- FMJ
- Extended Mags
- Akimbo (The ONLY reason I'd keep this option in is because people just like it. The
difference however would change that VERY quickly. You can have 1 in each hand, BUT
your accuracy goes down the tiolet after the first half second.)
Handguns
- Silencer
- FMJ
- Akimbo (This actually makes sense. But the same inaccuracy applies.)
- Extended Mags
No Tac Knifes
Shotguns
- Grip
- Red Dot, Holographic
- FMJ
- Extended Mags
No Akimbo (Try firing a sawed-off Shotgun w/ 1 hand & see)
No Silencers (Its more visually appealing than effective, plus you need to be so close
it'd be easier to just knife them anyway!)
- Pimped (you can tell I like Army of Two. The Ranger & Model 1887s look ram-shackle, not
something you'd see on an SAS member. So I figured it'd be cooler to just make them more
visually appealling than flat out annoying!)
Launchers are fine as they are. Except the Thumper.
8.) There are weapons in the Single Player that aren't in the Multi-Player & vice-versa. The
Thumper isn't ANYWHERE in the SP or I haven't found it! & the Dragnuv isn't in MP??? If
your going to put weapons in SP put them in MP!!!
9.) Re-design the Multi-Player maps. They're completely identical to each other & just plain
annoying.

11.) Add the Vote to Kick Player option to be in-game! Hackers thrive because this option is
only available to the host & only at the BEGINNING of the game!
